<p>Working in an office comes with its share of ups and downs. On the positive side, we get to work with a variety of people who can fuel our creativity and keep us motivated. The downside to that space-sharing, of course, is that not all of us are on the same mental schedule. This weird-looking helmet might just help you escape the noise of your officemates when you need to remove yourself from the din for a while.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-31269" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon5-1-468x319.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="319" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon5-1-468x319.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon5-1-768x523.jpg 768w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon5-1-1024x697.jpg 1024w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon5-1.jpg 1967w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>The design comes from the creative minds at <a href="http://hochurayu.com/product_design/helmfon/">Hochu Rayu</a>, who call it the Helmfon. The designers envision this bubble-headed haven as a portable fiberglass and polyethylene foam privacy booth. Inside, not only is the noise from your surroundings eliminated; the interior headphones can also pipe in your favorite music or relaxing sounds.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-31270" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon6-1-468x312.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="312" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon6-1-468x312.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon6-1-768x512.jpg 768w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon6-1-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon6-1.jpg 1426w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>In fact, there&#8217;s even enough space on the inside to keep your smartphone nearby for conducting important Skype conversations or watching videos in peace. Thanks to an integrated system board, there&#8217;s even the possibility of adding custom functions to the helmet in the future.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-31271" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon7-1-468x278.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="278" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon7-1-468x278.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon7-1-768x456.jpg 768w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon7-1-1024x608.jpg 1024w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>The designers even envision the helmet coming in a variety of colors and special designs. You&#8217;d have to work in a very special kind of environment to feel comfortable wearing a giant Minion head to escape your coworkers&#8217; noise all day.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-31272" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon3-1-468x266.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="266" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon3-1-468x266.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon3-1-768x436.jpg 768w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon3-1-1024x581.jpg 1024w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/helmfon3-1.jpg 1114w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>As cool as this idea is for a workplace productivity tool, it could easily be adapted to help those with sensory issues adapt to and thrive in their environments. Shutting out audio and visual stimulation can help the person with sensory processing issues &#8220;reset&#8221; his or her brain and emerge calmer and ready to return to their day.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/business-bobble-head-blocks-unwanted-office-noises/">Business Bobble Head Blocks Unwanted Office Noises</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p>The Polaris Sportsman WV850 H.O. all-terrain vehicle comes with all the fixings and then some, built to military specifications and featuring non-pneumatic bulletproof tires. No surprise: it was developed for the United State military, able to tackle tricky terrain under fire.</p>
<!--YouTube Error: bad URL entered-->
<p>This essentially indestructible ATV features &#8216;terrain armor&#8217; tire tech out of Minnesota (a state known for its cold and hot extremes), which allow tight cornering and high speeds in difficult conditions and all weather.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-31252" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/polaris-super-vehicle-468x263.jpg" alt="polaris super vehicle" width="468" height="263" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/polaris-super-vehicle-468x263.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/polaris-super-vehicle-768x431.jpg 768w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/polaris-super-vehicle.jpg 818w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>According to their makers, these &#8220;tires enhance the ‘WV850’s’ center-of-gravity and cornering.&#8221; The 77-horsepower off-roader also comes with a single-speed transmission, a high-strength steel exoskeleton, steel racks, plus a huge towing capacity (1,500 lb (680.4 kg)).</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-31251" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/rugged-design-468x235.jpg" alt="rugged design" width="468" height="235" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/rugged-design-468x235.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/rugged-design-768x385.jpg 768w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/rugged-design.jpg 818w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>The vehicle’s non-pneumatic tires are &#8220;designed to cope with combat-level stress; they can withstand .50 caliber gunshots, even AK47 bullet damage, and roll away from ballistic scenes like nothing happened.&#8221; Might be a bit overkill, but still fun, for an everyday consumer.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/high-caliber-rugged-armored-all-terrain-four-wheeler/">High Caliber: Rugged & Armored All-Terrain Four-Wheeler</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

    <p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-31247" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/magic-calendar-468x300.jpg" alt="magic calendar" width="468" height="300" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/magic-calendar-468x300.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/magic-calendar.jpg 750w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>Bridging the gap between classic calendars and high-tech displays, this paper-like system lets you see your days, weeks and months in a conventional fashion while being tied into a high-tech system. Japanese traditions of painting, calligraphy and demure decor have given rise to the Magic Calendar from Japanese Android Experiments, something that lets a new-fangled interface look classic and familiar for users.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-31246" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/magic-cal-468x261.jpg" alt="magic cal" width="468" height="261" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/magic-cal-468x261.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/magic-cal.jpg 600w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>It appears like a paper calendar on your wall, but in reality it syncs with your Google Calendar account, updating itself as your appointments and meetings change over time. Thanks to e-paper, it can be synced but look static at any given time, giving you the dynamic information of a smartphone schedule in a comfortable and traditional format. The use of e-ink also reduces the energy requirements of the calendar. Of course, formats can also be edited thanks to the device&#8217;s flexibility.</p>
<!--YouTube Error: bad URL entered-->
<p>&#8220;Why, though, go to the trouble of having this wall calendar? If the focus is on keeping track of dates and events, then your smartphone or laptop carries the information you need. The question, actually, can be turned around to why not.<br />
Neither would you need a painting or hanging tapestry to get through the day but they are quite nice. So is the e-ink display. bringing numbers to life on the wall, drawing in family members to dates that impact their routines.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;I think that as technology development progresses and these types of products are developed, the boundary between analog and digital things will disappear,&#8221; says its inventor. &#8220;Interestingly, many comments from those hearing about the calendar have been overwhelmingly positive: Shut up and take my money just about summed up the positive reactions.&#8221; It is, pardon the wordplay, a pretty magic cal.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/magic-calendar-e-ink-displays-look-just-like-normal-paper/">Magic Calendar: E-Ink Displays Look Just Like Normal Paper</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p>Made by the <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/LittlePlanetFactory">Little Planet Factory</a> in London, these 3D-printed models come with various degrees of detail, from real (raised ridges for Earthen land forms) to speculative (terraformed versions of Mars).</p>
