    <p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-25468" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/transformer-sculpture.jpg" alt="transformer sculpture" width="468" height="324" /></p>
<p>Those pink flamingos and garden gnomes in your yard are about to get really, really sad. Wisconsin artist and metalworker <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Edgren-Bilt-Yard-Art/742812952406669">George Edgren</a> created a 23-foot-tall Transformer sculpture in his yard that towers above the buildings.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-25465" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/hardwire-car-sculpture.jpg" alt="hardwire car sculpture" width="468" height="416" /></p>
<p>Hardwire, as the giant robotic sculpture is known, used to be an Oldsmobile Alero. Although the experienced artist had been making metal lawn art for years, he had never before tackled such a large project. Edgren&#8217;s friend convinced him to undertake the project, which about a month to complete.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-25466" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/car-turned-into-giant-transformer-sculpture.jpg" alt="car turned into giant transformer sculpture" width="468" height="416" /></p>
<p>Like any good scavenger, Edgren used all of the car&#8217;s parts. The hood was transformed into a strong chest, the doors were used to make abs and feet, and other various pieces form the giant sculpture&#8217;s body. Edgren&#8217;s first step was to create the framework of the robotic man, then he added artistic touches. His goal wasn&#8217;t to build any specific Transformer; he just went with the idea he worked out in his mind.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-25467" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/23-foot-tall-transformer-sculpture.jpg" alt="23 foot tall transformer sculpture" width="468" height="360" /></p>
<p>Hardwire can&#8217;t help but attract attention with his impressive stature. Unsurprisingly, kids are fascinated with the big metal man and want to know when he&#8217;ll start walking around. Although Edgren doesn&#8217;t have any specific plans for more giant sculptures, he hasn&#8217;t ruled out building something even bigger and more impressive in the future.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/gigantic-23-foot-tall-transformer-towers-over-rooftops/">Gigantic 23-Foot-Tall Transformer Towers Over Rooftops</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p><!--wsa:gooold-->If you&#8217;ve ever ridden your bike to the grocery store only to find out with dismay that the store doesn&#8217;t provide bike racks, the <a href="http://www.amxmabike.com.tw/main/index.aspx">Amxma Bike</a> could be just what you&#8217;ve been wishing for. The sassy little bike folds up into a shopping cart that you can wheel right into the store with you and down each aisle as you make your selections.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-10861" title="folding-shopping-cart-bike" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/folding-shopping-cart-bike.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="304" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/folding-shopping-cart-bike.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/folding-shopping-cart-bike-300x194.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>When you&#8217;re finished with your shopping, you can wheel the bike right back outside, pop it back into riding position and pedal back home. If you&#8217;re brave or just don&#8217;t have far to go, you can even forgo the plastic bags altogether. Then you&#8217;ll save both the gas it would have taken to drive there and the petroleum it would take to make those bags.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-10860" title="shopping-cart-folding-bike" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/shopping-cart-folding-bike.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="305" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/shopping-cart-folding-bike.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/shopping-cart-folding-bike-300x195.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>The concept of shopping with such a tiny basket may seem a little strange to people in some parts of the world. However, in many countries it&#8217;s normal to do the grocery shopping every day or two, making the small basket just the right size. Maybe this sweet, environmentally-friendly invention could even help inspire us to lead healthier lives by encouraging us to eat fresher foods (thanks to the limited cargo capacity) and get regular exercise.</p>
<p><object width="468" height="293"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZA0Gk6bTV8w?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US&amp;rel=0" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /></object></p>
<p>Even if you aren&#8217;t into the idea of taking your bike grocery shopping, the Amxma bike is still a nice innovation for cyclists. Most folding bikes are awkward and have to be carried after folding up, but the Amxma easily wheels to wherever you need to take it thanks to an independent third wheel and patented neutral gear motion.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/shopping-trippy-folding-bike-transforms-into-trolley/">Shopping Trippy: Folding Bike Transforms Into Trolley</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p><!--wsa:gooold-->There are not many things as intimidating as huge killer robots. A Chinese artist who calls himself &#8220;Steel Legend&#8221; (and whose real name is Yang Junlin) knows this well enough now that he has a <a href="http://www.odditycentral.com/pics/chinese-transformers-fan-builds-his-own-army-of-robots.html">whole army of Transformers</a> at his beck and call, presumably scattered all over his front yard to scare off intruders and salesmen.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-10476" title="transformers-2" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-2.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="351" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-2.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-2-300x225.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-10477" title="transformers-3" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-3.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="502" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-3.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-3-279x300.jpg 279w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>The Transformers are all made of scrap metal bits from old cars, but don&#8217;t dare to tell them that they used to be junk. They look like they could rip your puny human limbs off with hardly any effort&#8230;if they were built with moving parts, that is.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-10475" title="transformers-4" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-4.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="326" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-4.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-4-300x208.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-10474" title="transformers-5" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-5.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="546" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-5.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/03/transformers-5-257x300.jpg 257w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>Junlin is so in love with Transformers that he started his own scrap metal sculpture factory called Legend of Iron. To date, Junlin and his 10 employees have built more than 1000 scrap metal sculptures. They admit that the sculptures take a long time to create, but the crew believes the end results are worth the work. Which sounds nice until you remember that one day, these scary robots are going to overthrow the human crew and take control of the factory.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/army-of-scrap-metal-transformers-will-eat-your-soul/">Army of Scrap Metal Transformers Will Eat Your Soul</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>
