    <p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26978" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/full-moon-motorcycle.jpg" alt="full moon motorcycle" width="468" height="281" /></p>
<p>This ultra-slick motorcycle wouldn&#8217;t just catch the eyes of bystanders as you roll down the street. It&#8217;s almost guaranteed to literally stop traffic. The <a href="https://www.akrapovic.com/#!/motorcycle/news/26518/world-premiere-for-the-new-akrapovic-full-moon-concept">Full Moon Motorcycle</a> from <a href="http://www.akrapovic.com/">Akrapovic</a> and <a href="http://www.dreamachine-motorcycles.com/">Dreamachine Motorcycles</a> is so unique as to be almost unrecognizable as a motorcycle.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26973" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/rear-view-akrapovic-full-moon-motorcycle.jpg" alt="rear view akrapovic full moon motorcycle" width="468" height="326" /></p>
<p>The idea behind the design was to create something that defies definition. The Full Moon does that and then some with a seriously flashy body and some surprisingly sensible features.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-26974" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/dual-exhaust-full-moon-motorcycle-468x362.jpg" alt="dual exhaust full moon motorcycle" width="468" height="362" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/dual-exhaust-full-moon-motorcycle-468x362.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/dual-exhaust-full-moon-motorcycle.jpg 818w" sizes="(max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>Aside from its fanciful body that looks a bit like a long, silver wasp, the Full Moon features twin custom-made exhausts and a hydraulic suspension that keeps the bike standing upright even when parked.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26975" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/dreammachine-motorcycles-half-moon-motorcycle.jpg" alt="dreammachine motorcycles half moon motorcycle" width="468" height="309" /></p>
<p>The steering system is automated to get rid of visual clutter in the form of messy cables. The front end sports a whopping 30 inch aluminum and carbon wheel to complement the already-futuristic looking ride.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26977" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/footrest-full-moon-motorcycle.jpg" alt="footrest full moon motorcycle" width="468" height="232" /></p>
<p>The bike has some impressive power, as well &#8211; sitting in the middle of that sleek body is an S&amp;S Knucklehead 1,524 cc engine. The impressive bike is just a display concept for now, but it gained massive attention when it debuted at the <a href="http://www.custombike-show.de/">Bad Salzuflen Custombike Show</a> in Germany.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/extravagant-motorcycle-is-right-out-of-a-futurists-dream/">Extravagant Motorcycle is Right Out of a Futurist’s Dream</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p>To most people, building your own car means hours of labor stretching out over weeks, months or even years. Condense this time span down to about an hour and you&#8217;d have enough to build the <a href="http://inhabitat.com/the-tabby-is-a-diy-open-source-electric-vehicle-that-can-be-assembled-in-less-than-an-hour/">TABBY</a>, an open source electric vehicle.</p>
<p><a href="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/tabby1.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-23424" alt="tabby1" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/01/tabby1.jpg" width="468" height="340" /></a></p>
<p>Italian alternative vehicle company <a href="http://www.osvehicle.com/">OSVehicle</a> is the creator of the TABBY. The company&#8217;s website describes TABBY very simply as &#8220;an open source framework for vehicles.&#8221; Its short assembly time doesn&#8217;t mean you have to completely sacrifice car building&#8217;s freedom to customize. The TABBY&#8217;s engine is available in traditional combustion, hybrid or fully-integrated electronic form.</p>
<iframe type='text/html' src='http://player.vimeo.com/video/77204604' height='350' width='468' allowfullscreen=' frameborder='0'></iframe>
<p>Making your TABBY street-legal, however, does require special instructions. That&#8217;s where the Urban TABBY comes in. Called &#8220;the road legal evolution of TABBY,&#8221; it&#8217;s a special kit that you would apply to the chassis. OSVehicle&#8217;s website includes downloadable building instructions and a forum where you can upload and discuss your personal mods. Fully-built models run anywhere from $5,445 to $8,168, a reasonable price tag when you consider what some people will put into an old junker.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/open-source-diy-vehicle-is-customizable-eco-friendly/">Open Source DIY Vehicle Is Customizable + Eco-Friendly</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p>Normally, seeing a vehicle speed down the road on its roof would be cause for a 911 call &#8211; but not when <a href="http://www.speedycop.com/">SpeedyCop</a> is behind the wheel. The 40-something cop, also known as Jeff Bloch, is known for making some truly <a href="https://gajitz.com/grounded-airplane-is-still-able-to-fly-around-the-racetrack/">crazy vehicles</a>. But this upside-down Camaro might be the weirdest yet.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-22254" alt="upside down racecar" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/upside-down-racecar.jpg" width="468" height="311" /></p>
<p>In making the unusual ride, Bloch mashed up a 1999 Camaro and a 1990 Ford Festiva, using parts from both to bring the upside-down racecar to life. According to the creative cop, he is just an 8-year-old boy in a 40-year-old body, which explains why he creates such wacky driving machines.</p>
<!--YouTube Error: bad URL entered-->
<p>It&#8217;s not just for show, either. Bloch took this crazy car on the race track for the 2013 Spirit of LeMons race, an event that pits crazy, beat up or just plain odd cars against one another.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/double-take-upside-down-camaro-zips-around-on-its-roof/">Double Take: Upside-Down Camaro Zips Around on its Roof</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p>Have you ever wondered how the photographers from National Geographic get to those remote locations to capture some of the world&#8217;s most incredible images? The magazine enlisted the help of designers to come up with a new vehicle that would help their photography team navigate the tough terrain of Africa.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-21168" alt="national geographic concept vehicle" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/national-geographic-concept-vehicle.jpg" width="468" height="351" /></p>
<p>The 2035 Zaire concept car from <a href="http://joodong.blogspot.com/2012/11/national-geographic-concept-process.html">Dong Man Joo</a> features a rugged exterior that looks a bit like the Batman Tumbler. The huge, angular vehicle has a unique transforming magnetic wheel system that helps it grip and navigate uneven terrain.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-21167" alt="zaire national geographic concept car" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/zaire-national-geographic-concept-car.jpg" width="468" height="351" /></p>
<p>A wrap-around window makes it possible to photograph and film from a variety of angles while the photography team is still safe in the vehicle. One of the 2035 Zaire&#8217;s defining features is its ability to lift any seat up to a maximum of 10 meters (30 feet) when the top is opened. This lets photographers catch incredible footage from a great vantage point.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-21166" alt="photography vehicle national geographic" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/05/photography-vehicle-national-geographic.jpg" width="468" height="351" /></p>
<p>The vehicle&#8217;s unique angular exterior camouflages any damage that may occur on treks through the African wilderness. The five-person photography team can fit comfortably into the spacious interior so that they can safely continue to produce spectacular images of our amazing world.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/angular-nat-geo-vehicle-is-a-tank-made-for-photography/">Angular Nat Geo Vehicle is a Tank Made for Photography</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

    <p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-16744" title="e-tuk vendo" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/e-tuk-vendo.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="312" /></p>
<p>Three-wheeled auto rickshaws, or tuk-tuks, aren&#8217;t a common sight in America&#8230;but in other parts of the world, they&#8217;re everywhere. Typically, they are propelled either by cycling or by petrol or diesel fuel. Dutch company <a href="http://www.designboom.com/weblog/cat/16/view/20909/tuk-tuk-electric-food-truck.html">Tuk Tuk Factory</a> has taken this unique type of vehicle and turned it into a fully electric food truck.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-16741" title="electric tuk-tuk food truck" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/electric-tuk-tuk-food-truck.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="274" /></p>
<p>The E-Tuk Vendo seems to be the first electric tuk-tuk to be produced specifically for food service. The adorable vehicle is deceptively small; in its cargo area it sports a refrigerator, sink, plenty of storage and a counter that pulls out to become the working/selling area.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-16742" title="e-tuk vendo electric food tuk-tuk" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/e-tuk-vendo-electric-food-tuk-tuk.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="456" /></p>
<p>Operated by a lead-acid battery, the truck can go nearly 40 miles on a single charge. It is designed to be plugged in while it is stopped, both to recharge the battery and to power all of the internal systems. While stopped, the side panel lifts up and locks into place to become a lighted canopy.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-16743" title="tuk-tuk electric food truck" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/tuk-tuk-electric-food-truck.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="312" /></p>
<p>After a hard day of street food sales, the truck&#8217;s battery fully recharges in about 10 hours. Dutch smoothie vendors Toeti Froeti received the first version of the E-Tuk Vendo, the saucy orange number pictured here. According to Tuk Tuk Factory, there is a huge demand for eco-friendly electric food trucks all over the world &#8211; and their particular type of truck inspires smiles in everyone who sees it.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/fully-electric-3-wheel-food-truck-is-a-cute-modern-rickshaw/">Fully Electric 3-Wheel Food Truck is a Cute Modern Rickshaw</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>
