    <p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26842" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/sitpack.jpg" alt="sitpack" width="468" height="285" /></p>
<p>Sitting all day isn&#8217;t great for you, but standing for too long can also cause some physical problems&#8230;besides which, standing around for long periods can just be annoying. Whether you&#8217;re waiting in a long line or enjoying an outdoor music festival, there are plenty of occasions when having a portable chair would be super handy.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26836" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/sitpack-portable-seat.jpg" alt="sitpack portable seat" width="468" height="461" /></p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26837" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/portable-telescoping-seat.jpg" alt="portable telescoping seat" width="468" height="202" /></p>
<p>The Sitpack from <a href="http://www.monoplusmono.dk/products/rest">Mono + Mono</a> is a telescoping seat that folds down into a remarkably tiny carrying package. It starts out at an amazing 6.6 inches tall &#8211; small enough to fit into your purse or pocket. To use it, you flip open the sides of the case and pull down the telescoping leg. The leg is adjustable to six sizes, from a small stool size to the height of a standard bar stool.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26838" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/smallest-portable-telescoping-chair.jpg" alt="smallest portable telescoping chair" width="468" height="347" /></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26839" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/folding-portable-seat.jpg" alt="folding portable seat" width="468" height="241" /></p>
<p>When deployed, the Sitpack can support a person of up to 150 kilograms (about 330 pounds). Using it lets you relax your muscles and joints a bit, but not so much that you are completely resting. It&#8217;s more of an active resting position that requires you to use your leg muscles to stay balanced. This position keeps blood flowing and promotes good posture.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26840" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/portable-folding-pole-seat.jpg" alt="portable folding pole seat" width="468" height="263" /></p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>After a wildly successful Kickstarter campaign, the designers are planning to produce the Sitpack entirely in Denmark with a family-owned manufacturing facility.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/pocket-size-gadget-telescopes-into-an-anywhere-stool/">Pocket-Size Gadget Telescopes Into an Anywhere Stool</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

    <p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26795" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/bike-in-a-bag-concept.jpg" alt="bike in a bag concept" width="468" height="351" /></p>
<p>Super-portable bikes are nothing new. If anything, we&#8217;re flooded with concepts and with actual purchasable bikes. But the <a href="http://www.yankodesign.com/2014/11/11/bike-in-a-bag/">Kit Bike</a> from <a href="http://www.lucid.co.in/">Lucid Design</a> is different enough to catch the eye.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26789" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/kit-bike-disassembled.jpg" alt="kit bike disassembled" width="468" height="351" /></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26790" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/construction-of-kit-bike.jpg" alt="construction of kit bike" width="468" height="351" /></p>
<p>The bike is a lightweight, hollow-tube cycle that snaps together quickly and easily. Simple twist joints hold the tubes together and, with a little practice, you can assemble or disassemble it in minutes.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26791" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/collapsible-bike-handlebars.jpg" alt="collapsible bike handlebars" width="468" height="351" /></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26792" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/kit-bike-pedals.jpg" alt="kit bike pedals" width="468" height="331" /></p>
<p>But here&#8217;s where the really interesting part of the design comes in. With most folding bikes, the frame can easily fold up but then you&#8217;ve still got to carry the wheels around with you. The Kit Bike comes with a handsome leather backpack that holds all of the bike&#8217;s parts, including the wheels.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26793" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/kit-bike-instructions.jpg" alt="kit bike instructions" width="468" height="351" /></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26794" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/kit-bike-in-a-bag.jpg" alt="kit bike in a bag" width="468" height="351" /></p>
<p>There are three compartments in the bag: the center is for the frame parts, and the two outer pockets hold the wheels. The whole thing straps onto your back so you can easily carry it around on the street, on the trail, or on public transport. The design is in the concept stage and might need some further refinement (a more stable frame would be nice), but it&#8217;s got serious promise.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/all-packed-up-collapsing-bike-fits-entirely-in-a-backpack/">All Packed Up: Collapsing Bike Fits Entirely in a Backpack</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

    <p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26334" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/ace-group-iface-portable-LOTO-collapsing-disc-mouse.jpg" alt="ace group iface portable LOTO collapsing disc mouse" width="468" height="216" /></p>
<p>There are those of us who are totally comfortable using our laptops&#8217; trackpads, and then there are people who would rather use literally anything else to move their cursor around. But if you aren&#8217;t using your computer in the same place all the time, finding a mouse that easily moves around with you can be a hassle.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26331" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/conical-collapsible-portable-disc-mouse.jpg" alt="conical collapsible portable disc mouse" width="468" height="510" /></p>
<p>A group of designers known as <a href="http://www.red-dot.sg/en/online-exhibition/concept/?code=1261&amp;y=2014&amp;c=17&amp;a=0">ACE Group</a> won a 2014 Red Dot design award for their inventive mouse design they call LOTO. LOTO starts out as a flat disc with a slice removed &#8211; like Pac-Man with a cord attached to his mouth.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26332" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/flat-disc-mouse-transforms-into-conical-mouse.jpg" alt="flat disc mouse transforms into conical mouse" width="468" height="545" /></p>
<p>When you need to use the mouse, you pull on the cord to cinch the disc into a low cone and adjust a small stopper to keep it in position. Plug it into a USB outlet on your laptop and you&#8217;re ready to go.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26333" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/portable-collapsing-disc-mouse.jpg" alt="portable collapsing disc mouse" width="468" height="370" /></p>
<p>The LOTO is only a concept, so it owuld be interesting to know just how effective the design really is. When in usable form the cone is completely unsupported from the bottom, so the buttons would have to be very responsive to keep the whole thing from caving in when you tap a button. But it is ultra-portable, so that will be enough to win over plenty of die-hard mouse enthusiasts.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/slice-of-life-cone-mouse-drops-to-pac-man-shape-for-travel/">Slice of Life: Cone Mouse Drops to Pac-Man Shape for Travel</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>
