    <p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-24944" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/nivea-bracelet-print-ad.jpg" alt="nivea bracelet print ad" width="468" height="263" /></p>
<p>Every summer, millions of people flock to beaches around the world. For those with small children, keeping track of the little ones in the crowd can be an exhausting and kind of scary task. Nivea, in association with ad agency <a href="http://fcbbrasil.com.br/#!/novidades">FCB Brazil</a>, has come up with a brilliant way to not only remind you to keep everyone slathered in sunscreen, but also to keep track of your kids.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-24943" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/print-ad-nivea-secret-child-tracking-bracelet.jpg" alt="print ad nivea secret child tracking bracelet" width="468" height="263" /></p>
<p>The Nivea print ad contains a clever tracking bracelet that separates easily from the page of a magazine. An electronic tag is built right into the bracelet, which fits around your child&#8217;s wrist. Your little one is then free to go enjoy building sandcastles and splashing in the waves.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-24941" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/nivea-child-locator-bracelet-ad.jpg" alt="nivea child locator bracelet ad" width="468" height="113" /></p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-24942" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/tracking-app-nivea-bracelet-ad.jpg" alt="tracking app nivea bracelet ad" width="468" height="312" /></p>
<p>You download the associated app on your smartphone, then set the distance that your child is allowed to wander away from you. If the little one happens to move outside of that radius, your smartphone sends you an alert. If you can&#8217;t find him by sight, you can use the locator in the app that will tell you, as you walk around, whether you&#8217;re getting closer to or further from the child.</p>
<!--YouTube Error: bad URL entered-->
<p>The bracelet can be used more than once and is humidity-proof (so we&#8217;re assuming they can&#8217;t actually go swimming with it on). The ingenious campaign is the perfect way to combine a lazy beach day with a magazine and peace of mind that little Billy won&#8217;t go running off while you catch up on the latest celebrity gossip mag.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/clever-print-ad-contains-smart-kid-tracing-beach-bracelet/">Clever Print Ad Contains Smart Kid-Tracing Beach Bracelet</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

    <p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-24388" alt="sand and snow trike" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/sand-and-snow-trike.jpg" width="468" height="306" /></p>
<p>Riding your bike over sand, snow, or other unstable ground is an exercise in futility that will soon leave you bogged down and stuck. Fatbikes are a smooth alternative, using big, soft tires &#8211; kind of like those on dune buggies &#8211; to get the bikes across the slippery terrain.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-24385" alt="three wheeled juggernaut trike" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/three-wheeled-juggernaut-trike.jpg" width="468" height="351" /></p>
<p><a href="http://riderungu.com/">Rungu</a> makes a three-wheeled wonder called <a href="http://riderungu.com/juggernaut/">Juggernaut</a> that makes short work of the slippery, sliding, uneven ground. Two fat 26&#8243; tires on the front give the bike stability and another fat tire in the back gives the bike unparalleled traction and control.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-24386" alt="fat tire juggernaut bike" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/fat-tire-juggernaut-bike.jpg" width="468" height="270" /></p>
<p>Rungu&#8217;s bikes were developed specifically to haul surfboards across sandy beaches. They have low gearing to make them unstoppable on difficult terrain. At a slow speed, the Juggernaut can crawl over obstacles up to 6&#8243; high, and stairs are no match for its fat tires.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-24387" alt="juggernaut trike" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/juggernaut-trike.jpg" width="468" height="268" /></p>
<p>While the Juggernaut has standard brakes for both of the front tires, the rear tire boasts a hydraulic brake. All told, the bike has up to twice the stopping power of a regular bike. You&#8217;ll have to be a pretty dedicated rider to bring the Juggernaut home, though &#8211; it&#8217;ll run you a cool $2500 for the standard setup.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/fat-tired-trike-is-meant-to-navigate-tricky-snow-and-sand/">Fat-Tired Trike is Meant to Navigate Tricky Snow and Sand</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p>There&#8217;s nothing quite like being on the open water, just floating along. But this can be difficult with that little nine-foot jon boat that sits in your driveway ten months out of the year. Austrian design studio <a href="http://www.formquadrat.com/en.html">formquadrat</a> hope to enhance your boating experience.</p>
<p><a href="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/fines-2.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-23301" alt="fines 2" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/fines-2.jpg" width="468" height="312" /></a></p>
<p>The &#8216;<a href="http://www.designboom.com/design/formquadrat-develops-fines-floating-island-boat-11-11-2013/">fines</a>&#8216; is a &#8220;foldable multi-hull boat concept for 4-6 people,&#8221; meant to &#8220;create a mobile, individual oasis of well-being.&#8221; This comfort comes from the ability to leave behind crowded beaches but still have the space to relax and bask in the sun.</p>
<p><a href="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/fines-3.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-23302" alt="fines 3" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/fines-3.jpg" width="468" height="312" /></a></p>
<p>The side platforms spread out to about a 23-foot width. The front hull also extends to reveal a lounge area with a built-in dedicated grill for cooking. When the sun begins to set and it&#8217;s time to head back, the fines&#8217; hulls lock together and the boat becomes 8.5 feet wide, just the right size to fit into the docks.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/create-your-own-oasis-with-this-unique-foldable-skiff/">Create Your Own Oasis With This Unique ‘Foldable’ Skiff</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p><!--wsa:gooold-->Maybe petty theft at the beach isn&#8217;t the world&#8217;s biggest problem, but it is troublesome for those who are ripped off. You can lock your purse or wallet in the car, but what about your car keys? What about those expensive sunglasses that you don&#8217;t want to take in the water with you when you go swimming? This crazy-looking gadget designed by Chris Stratton is called the <a href="http://www.ubergizmo.com/15/archives/2009/05/gigga_clam_offers_protection_on_beach.html">Gigga Clam</a>, and it wants to help your stuff stay safe while you&#8217;re strutting in the surf.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-4292" title="gigga-clam" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/gigga-clam-3.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="398" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/gigga-clam-3.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/gigga-clam-3-300x255.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>It looks just like a big, sand-colored clam, but it&#8217;s actually a secure lockbox. You put your personal items inside and lock it, then bury it in the sand. You wear a waterproof wristband that doubles as the locking mechanism and a GPS tracker; if anyone other than you digs your Gigga Clam up, you&#8217;ll be alerted via the vibrating bracelet. If your Clam did, indeed, walk off with some unsavory character, the wristband turns into a beeping tracker that will help you uncover its location.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-4293" title="gigga-clam" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/gigga-clam-2.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="412" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/gigga-clam-2.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/gigga-clam-2-300x264.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>The waterproof Clam is big enough to hold all of the essentials: wallet, keys, sunglasses, phone and MP3 player. It&#8217;s designed to be made of high-quality polycarbonate, making it tough enough to handle the harsh physical impact of being shoved into the sand. The design <a href="http://productgallery.net/innovate/?p=340">took first place</a> in the Design Institution&#8217;s Beach and Pool 2008/09 design competition. No word on if or when the Gigga Clam will go into production.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/ahoy-buried-treasure-clam-safe-secures-beach-flotsam/">Ahoy, Buried Treasure!
