Pac-Man is without question one of the most successful and well-loved arcade games of all time. It has spawned countless clones, rip-offs, emulators and tributes along with a whole counter-culture of Pac-freaks. This, however, is the most epic thing to happen in the history of the game: it’s the World’s Biggest Pac-Man game. Put together by web design group Soap Creative for the launch of Internet Explorer 9, the game is a nearly-endless world of user-created Pac-Man maps all linked together.
The web-based game keeps track of the maps you have already attempted so you can come back over and over to try to conquer every last one. It also tracks stats by country and by player, telling you how many pellets you’ve munched and how many ghosts you’ve vanquished. The World’s Biggest Pac-Man is perfect both for easily-bored gamers (you can choose which map to start on every time) and for the serious die-hard Pac-Man fan who just can’t get enough of that wokka-wokka-wokka action.
