    <p><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-28453" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/mousebox-design-468x312.jpg" alt="mousebox design" width="468" height="312" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/mousebox-design-468x312.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/mousebox-design.jpg 600w" sizes="(max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>Since mobile devices today have world&#8217;s more computing power than PCs of a decade or two ago, it makes sense that sooner or later a peripheral could double as an entire computer of its in, in this case putting that computer in a mouse and quite literally in the palm of your hand.</p>
<iframe type='text/html' src='http://player.vimeo.com/video/117083603' height='350' width='468' allowfullscreen=' frameborder='0'></iframe>
<p>The Mouse Box by Przemysław Strzelczyk works as a mouse normally would, but contains a processor, storage, HDMI connection and wifi capabilities as well. As the one external computing accessory people travel with, this seems like the right type of device in which to put a whole computer.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-28451" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/mouse-box-motherboard-468x263.jpg" alt="mouse box motherboard" width="468" height="263" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/mouse-box-motherboard-468x263.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/mouse-box-motherboard.jpg 719w" sizes="(max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>The next step: creating a wireless charging mouse pad, since energy is likely to be the most limiting factor, as it is with smartphones. Hopefully a model further in the future could contain some kind of projection device, eliminating the need to carry a screen as well.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-28452" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/mouse-box-palm-computer-468x292.jpg" alt="mouse box palm computer" width="468" height="292" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/mouse-box-palm-computer-468x292.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/mouse-box-palm-computer.jpg 620w" sizes="(max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>And here are the specs: 1.4GHz ARM Cortex CPU, 128GB flash storage (cloud storage optional), Micro HDMI port, Wi-Fi connectivity and 2 x USB 3.0 ports. <em>&#8220;From now on,&#8221;</em> says its creator,<em> &#8220;you don’t need to buy a few devices to keep your computer always at hand. Mouse-Box uses the power of a mouse, an invariable component in a computer set for many years.&#8221;</em></p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/peripheral-as-pc-this-mouse-houses-your-whole-computer/">Peripheral as PC: This Mouse Houses Your Whole Computer</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p>Using a computer mouse has become a pretty natural movement for most of us, but the hand position required to operate one is inherently unnatural for the human body. A company called <a href="http://www.penclic.se/nyheter--produkter/?lang=en">Penclic</a> is seeking to redesign the classic mouse shape with the Penclic Mouse, an input device that lets users assume a more natural, ergonomic position with the hand.</p>
<!--YouTube Error: bad URL entered-->
<p>As you might guess from the name, the Penclic is shaped like a pen. Its unique shape and design allow for quicker, more precise movement than a traditional mouse. Users can rest their forearms on the work surface, reducing the risk of strain or injury to the wrist. It&#8217;s an ideal solution for designers, artists, architects, and anyone else who needs pen-like precision while they are working, but it&#8217;s also a clever and convenient change for the casual home user.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-27162" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/penclic-ergonomic-mouse.jpg" alt="penclic ergonomic mouse" width="468" height="308" /></p>
<p>There are two different models of Penclic for different users. One is interchangeable for left-handed or right-handed people with the scroll wheel and three buttons on the pen shaft; the other features five buttons and a scroll wheel for right-handed users. The mouse also offers wired, wireless with a dongle, and wireless with Bluetooth options. A price range of $60-$100 makes it a somewhat hefty initial investment (as compared to a $5 traditional mouse) but the increased precision and decreased risk of Repetitive Stress Injury make it seem worth the price.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/a-better-mouse-input-device-with-the-precision-of-a-pen/">A Better Mouse: Input Device With the Precision of a Pen</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

    <p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26334" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/ace-group-iface-portable-LOTO-collapsing-disc-mouse.jpg" alt="ace group iface portable LOTO collapsing disc mouse" width="468" height="216" /></p>
<p>There are those of us who are totally comfortable using our laptops&#8217; trackpads, and then there are people who would rather use literally anything else to move their cursor around. But if you aren&#8217;t using your computer in the same place all the time, finding a mouse that easily moves around with you can be a hassle.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26331" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/conical-collapsible-portable-disc-mouse.jpg" alt="conical collapsible portable disc mouse" width="468" height="510" /></p>
<p>A group of designers known as <a href="http://www.red-dot.sg/en/online-exhibition/concept/?code=1261&amp;y=2014&amp;c=17&amp;a=0">ACE Group</a> won a 2014 Red Dot design award for their inventive mouse design they call LOTO. LOTO starts out as a flat disc with a slice removed &#8211; like Pac-Man with a cord attached to his mouth.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26332" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/flat-disc-mouse-transforms-into-conical-mouse.jpg" alt="flat disc mouse transforms into conical mouse" width="468" height="545" /></p>
<p>When you need to use the mouse, you pull on the cord to cinch the disc into a low cone and adjust a small stopper to keep it in position. Plug it into a USB outlet on your laptop and you&#8217;re ready to go.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-26333" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/portable-collapsing-disc-mouse.jpg" alt="portable collapsing disc mouse" width="468" height="370" /></p>
<p>The LOTO is only a concept, so it owuld be interesting to know just how effective the design really is. When in usable form the cone is completely unsupported from the bottom, so the buttons would have to be very responsive to keep the whole thing from caving in when you tap a button. But it is ultra-portable, so that will be enough to win over plenty of die-hard mouse enthusiasts.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/slice-of-life-cone-mouse-drops-to-pac-man-shape-for-travel/">Slice of Life: Cone Mouse Drops to Pac-Man Shape for Travel</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

    <p><a href="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/bat-floating-mouse.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-23146" alt="bat floating mouse" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/bat-floating-mouse.jpg" width="468" height="262" /></a></p>
<p>Carpal Tunnel syndrome arises from performing repetitive actions like typing, using a computer mouse, or making the same movements with your hands hundreds of times a day (like factory workers do). It&#8217;s more than just an irritation &#8211; it&#8217;s seriously painful and can limit the use of your wrists. Designer Vadim Kibardin has designed a mouse that could spell the end of this painful condition.</p>
<p><a href="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/floating-mouse-to-end-carpal-tunnel-syndrome.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-23144" alt="floating mouse to end carpal tunnel syndrome" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/floating-mouse-to-end-carpal-tunnel-syndrome.jpg" width="468" height="312" /></a></p>
<p>The Bat is a levitating mouse/base combination that utilizes a magnet to float above the surface of your desk. The change in position relieves pressure on the median nerve. This nerve allows the fingers and hands to move, but when it is damaged by carpal tunnel syndrome the hand and fingers experience numbness and weakness.</p>
<p><a href="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/levitating-mouse.jpg"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-23145" alt="levitating mouse" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/levitating-mouse.jpg" width="468" height="312" /></a></p>
<p>The floating ring part of the setup contains a circular magnet that is repelled from the base unit. Because the mouse is no longer resting on the desk and the wrist can move freely, there is no pressure on the nerves. The designer didn&#8217;t mention anything about arm fatigue, which we imagine might be a problem when using a mouse that requires you to keep your arm aloft.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/death-of-carpal-tunnel-levitating-mouse-is-easy-on-wrists/">Death of Carpal Tunnel? <p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-20336" alt="iriscan scanner mouse" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/iriscan-scanner-mouse.jpg" width="468" height="313" /></p>
<p>This normal-looking mouse is much more than meets the eye &#8211; it also doubles as a scanner. The <a href="http://irislink.com/c2-2415-189/IRIScan-Mouse---You-swipe--it-scans-.aspx">IRIScan mouse</a> works like a regular mouse, but it also features an extra button that lets it scan whatever is under it at the time. Press the &#8220;scan&#8221; button and swipe the mouse over a contract, letter, picture or other important document, and the image of that object appears immediately on the screen.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-20335" alt="mouse scanner combination" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/mouse-scanner-combination.jpg" width="468" height="356" /></p>
<p>You can drag and drop the scanned document into your favorite program to edit it, send it or post it. The combination mouse and 300 dpi scanner costs $79 and comes with a three-month subscription to Evernote Premium.</p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" width="468" height="263" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/gzzyrdu-i2c?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>The very cool combination device would undoubtedly be useful, but we&#8217;d worry about accidentally hitting that &#8220;scan&#8221; button over and over and ending up with hundreds of scans of our Spongebob mouse pad.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/point-and-pick-mouse-can-scan-with-the-push-of-a-button/">Point and Pick: Mouse Can Scan With the Push of a Button</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>
