<p>While most electric motorcycles are charged between rides, a new concept bike from designers Olegs Zabelins and Pavels Sevcenko wants to switch things up a bit. It seems like they had video games in mind when they upgraded the previous charge system to include interchangeable battery packs for the <a href="http://www.popsci.com/cars/article/2013-05/concept-electric-motorcycle-recharges-10-minutes">Nirvash Electric Motorbike</a>.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-21330" alt="quick charging electric motorcycle" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/quick-charging-electric-motorcycle.jpg" width="468" height="369" /></p>
<p>The concept is very simple: on the side of the motorbike is a flip-up panel that hides a honeycomb-like cluster holding the six batteries. The benefits are numerous. It’s eco-friendly, waiting for the entire bike to charge is now a thing of the past, and the replaceable batteries could cut the cost of repairs.</p>
<p><img decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-21329" alt="nirvash electric motorcycle" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/nirvash-electric-motorcycle.jpg" width="468" height="369" /></p>
<p>The designers claim the batteries will take no longer than ten minutes to charge. That’s just enough time for you to grab a latte and a muffin before jetting off into the future.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/concept-motorbike-has-super-quick-battery-charge-system/">Concept Motorbike Has Super-Quick Battery Charge System</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p><!--wsa:gooold-->Usually, the highway is one of the last places you&#8217;d have to fear gators. But thanks to this super-creepy motorcycle, you might just see these toothy jaws in your rearview mirror. Although it may seem like a cruel way to use a gator carcass, the <a href="http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/worldnews/article-1250891/Road-Kill-Alligator-killed-US.html">GatorBike</a> was built to raise money for the Wildlife Rehabilitation of Hernando in Florida, an organization that rescues and rehabilitates exotic animals that have been kept as pets. The beast was killed in a gator cull that was essential to keep the animals&#8217; population down.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-4432" title="alligator-crocodile-motorbike" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/alligator-crocodile-motorbike.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="347" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/alligator-crocodile-motorbike.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/02/alligator-crocodile-motorbike-300x222.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>The bike was designed by Benny Ohrman, a Swedish leather expert. He spent a year working with the gator hide and designing the paint job to make this one-of-a-kind highway monster. Jim Jablon, owner of the WROH, spent over $100,000 of his own money to build the bike, which contains a powerful Ultima engine. Jablon is selling raffle tickets for the ghoulish bike and will choose a winner by throwing entrants&#8217; names into a pool of alligators and having a young model dive in to fetch one. We sure hope the job pays well.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/wild-ride-intimidating-gatorbike-with-real-gator-skin/">Wild Ride: Intimidating GatorBike With Real Gator Skin</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>

<p><!--wsa:gooold-->The title, of course, refers to quote from the original Tron: &#8220;On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy.&#8221; For all of us who have been drooling over the fantastic-looking trailer for the sequel, Tron Legacy, here&#8217;s something else to torture us for the remainder of the year until the movie finally hits theaters. A <a href="http://www.thedesignblog.org/entry/tron-legacy-bike-appears-for-the-eye-delight/">life-size model</a> of one of the light cycles to be used in the movie was caught on camera recently, and it looks absolutely wicked. It was made by toy manufacturer Spin Master, which has the contract for the toys and action figures associated with the new Tron.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="alignnone size-full wp-image-3803" title="tron light cycle" src="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/tron-light-cycle.jpg" alt="" width="468" height="468" srcset="https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/tron-light-cycle.jpg 468w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/tron-light-cycle-150x150.jpg 150w, https://gajitz.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/01/tron-light-cycle-300x300.jpg 300w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 468px) 100vw, 468px" /></p>
<p>We haven&#8217;t been this excited about a new movie vehicle since the Tumbler. Sadly, Spin Master doesn&#8217;t plan to sell this model. And unfortunately, we probably won&#8217;t see any real-world counterparts anytime soon. You will, however, be able to buy toy versions of it closer to the movie&#8217;s release. We know what we want for Christmas already.</p><p>The post <a href="https://gajitz.com/on-the-other-side-of-the-screen-it-looks-like-a-light-cycle/">On the Other Side of the Screen, It Looks Like a Light Cycle</a> first appeared on <a href="https://gajitz.com">Gajitz</a>.</p>
